Red apple
Apples are red, apples are sweet. I like to eat apples, and mom also likes to eat apples. Today I went to the fruit shop and saw many apples. I bought a big apple.
Bananas are yellow, bananas are long. Bananas are delicious, dad likes to eat bananas. I eat one banana every day. Bananas give me a lot of energy.
Oranges are round, oranges are orange. Oranges are sweet and sour, I really like oranges. I drink orange juice, orange juice is healthy. Little sister also likes oranges.
Grapes are small, grapes are purple. Grapes are in bunches, grapes are sweet. I eat grapes, grapes are delicious. Grandma also likes to eat grapes.

Adjective + 的 (de) to describe nouns
In Chinese, adjectives are often followed by 的 when they modify a noun. Reduplicated adjectives (like 红红的) also take 的.

Subject + 很 + Adjective
The adverb 很 (very) is often used before adjectives to form a predicate. It doesn’t always mean ‘very’; it can simply link the subject and adjective.
苹果很甜。
香蕉很长。
