A New Beginning of Friendship
Xiao Hua had just moved to this city and didn’t have a single friend. He went home right after work every day and felt life was very boring. His colleague Xiao Li noticed his loneliness and took the initiative to invite him to eat together. Xiao Hua was very touched and felt this was a good opportunity to build friendship.
A week later, Xiao Li invited Xiao Hua to a friend’s party. Xiao Hua was a bit nervous because he wasn’t very good at socializing. At the party, Xiao Li introduced him to several new friends. Every weekend, he would organize a small gathering, and everyone brought snacks and drinks to chat. Xiao Hua understood that friendship needs to be nurtured with care. He often sent messages to friends to ask about their recent situations. Once, Xiao Li was sick, and Xiao Hua immediately went to take care of him, and their friendship deepened.
Now, Xiao Hua has many friends. He no longer feels lonely; instead, he enjoys this kind of social life. On the first Friday of every month, he invites everyone to his home for a party. Friends all say that Xiao Hua is a good friend worth cherishing. Xiao Hua smiles and says that friendship is like a pot of flowers; it needs to be watered every day to bloom beautifully.
