Wáng Xiǎomíng zài Niǔyuē gōngzuò, xià ge xīngqī tā yào qù Huáshèngdùn kāihuì. Yīnwèi shíjiān hěn jǐn, tā juédìng zuò fēijī qù, zhèyàng bǐjiào kuài. Tā gěi jiǔdiàn dǎ diànhuà, xiǎng dìng yì zhāng qù Huáshèngdùn de jīpiào. Jiǔdiàn de fúwùyuán hěn rèqíng, wèn tā yào mǎi shénme yàng de piào.

Wáng Xiǎomíng shuō, tā yào yì zhāng dānchéng piào, yīnwèi kāi wán huì yǐhòu, tā yào zài Huáshèngdùn zhù jǐ tiān, kànkan nàlǐ de péngyou. Fúwùyuán qǐng tā bǎ chéngkè míngzi, shíjiān hé fùkuǎn fāngfǎ gàosu tā. Wáng Xiǎomíng shuō zìjǐ jiào Wáng Xiǎomíng, xiǎng míngtiān zǎoshang chūfā, yòng xìnyòngkǎ fù qián.

Fúwùyuán chá le yíxià, fāxiàn míngtiān zǎoshang shíyī diǎn shí fēn yǒu yì bān cóng Niǔyuē dào Huáshèngdùn de fēijī, érqiě hái yǒu wèizi. Tā wèn Wáng Xiǎomíng zhège shíjiān hé bù héshì. Wáng Xiǎomíng juéde hěn hǎo, dànshì tā hái xiǎng zhīdào jǐ diǎn yīnggāi líkāi jiǔdiàn qù jīchǎng.

Fúwùyuán gàosu tā, jiǔdiàn yǒu miǎnfèi de chuānsuō bāshì. Zǎoshang bā diǎn bàn yǒu yì bān chē, jiǔ diǎn bàn jiù néng dào jīchǎng. Wáng Xiǎomíng juéde zhège shíjiān yǒudiǎnr zǎo, jiù wèn yǒu méiyǒu bié de xuǎnzé. Fúwùyuán shuō xiàwǔ yī diǎn líng wǔ fēn hái yǒu yì bān fēijī, kěshì jīpiào bǐjiào guì.

Wáng Xiǎomíng xiǎng le xiǎng, háishi juédìng zuò zǎoshang de nà yì bān. Fúwùyuán shuō, tāmen huì wèi tā yùdìng hǎo jīpiào, wǎnshang jiǔ diǎn yǐqián bǎ jīpiào sòng dào tā de fángjiān. Wáng Xiǎomíng hěn gāoxìng, gǎnxiè fúwùyuán de bāngzhù. Dì èr tiān zǎoshang, tā zuò shàng chuānsuō bāshì, shùnlì dào le jīchǎng, zhǔnshí zuò shàng le qù Huáshèngdùn de fēijī. Zhè cì lǚxíng ràng tā hěn qīdài.

Booking a Flight

Wang Xiaoming works in New York, and next week he needs to go to Washington for a meeting. Because time is tight, he decides to go by plane because it is faster. He calls the hotel because he wants to book a plane ticket to Washington. The hotel staff member is very friendly and asks what kind of ticket he wants to buy.

Wang Xiaoming says that he wants a one-way ticket because, after the meeting, he plans to stay in Washington for a few days and visit friends there. The staff member asks him to tell her the passenger name, the time, and the payment method. Wang Xiaoming says that his name is Wang Xiaoming, that he wants to leave tomorrow morning, and that he will pay by credit card.

The staff member checks and discovers that there is a flight from New York to Washington tomorrow morning at 11:10, and there are still seats available. She asks Wang Xiaoming whether this time is suitable. Wang Xiaoming thinks it is good, but he also wants to know what time he should leave the hotel for the airport.

The staff member tells him that the hotel has a free shuttle bus. There is one at 8:30 in the morning, and it can arrive at the airport at 9:30. Wang Xiaoming thinks that this time is a little early, so he asks whether there are other choices. The staff member says that there is another flight at 1:05 in the afternoon, but the ticket is more expensive.

Wang Xiaoming thinks about it and still decides to take the morning flight. The staff member says that they will reserve the ticket for him and deliver it to his room before 9 PM. Wang Xiaoming is very happy and thanks the staff member for her help. The next morning, he takes the shuttle bus, arrives at the airport smoothly, and boards the flight to Washington on time. This trip makes him look forward to the future.
