Shopping center opening

Today is a special day. The new shopping mall in the east of the city finally opened for business. This shopping mall is very big, with all kinds of stores inside. My favorite is that department store, which takes up one floor of the mall. The department store sells clothes, cosmetics, and household items; they have a wide selection. Mom took me to another department store, saying that one has a better children’s clothing section.

There are also many specialty stores in the mall. One specialty store only sells sports shoes, another only sells chocolate. I walked into that chocolate specialty store, the aroma was overwhelming, and I bought a box of dark chocolate. Dad said there is a famous chain store on this street that sells milk tea. We found that chain store and discovered that next to it there is an even bigger chain store that sells bread.

What surprised me most was the flagship store in the center of the mall. This flagship store is of a certain international brand, with very luxurious decoration. The flagship store has the latest models of phones and computers, and many people were queuing. The staff told us that this flagship store is the brand’s largest in Asia. After visiting the flagship store, we went to another flagship store that sells sports equipment.

In the mall, we also saw many chain stores and specialty stores. Each store has its own characteristics. The department store was crowded, and there was a long line at the flagship store entrance. This mall is really lively, and we had a great time. Next time I will come again and visit all the specialty stores and chain stores.
